It is amazing that Ben Ben likes to eat raw celery, which daddy and mummy can’t eat raw. We even hated it when young. But he can crunch 5-6 sticks at a go! His other favorites that he eats raw are cucumber, carrot and capsicum sometimes. Lately, he becomes adventurous and starts to like ovenized brinjal (egg plant) with little bit of salt and pepper. Oh ya, pepper is another food that he discovered and savored recently. Other vege that he likes are broccoli, cauliflower, potato, kang kong (Water Convolvulus), siaw pai chai.
His favorite fruits are grapes, apple, honey dew and guava.
It was so much easier to feed him plain rice with vege (just raw or steamed) rather than meat until he was 3. Mummy had to cut meat into tiny bits and hide inside the rice, but he often noticed them and threw them out. Only after 3 years, he has started to eat meat and fish “officially”, and also roasted beef even with some marsala. We thought he did not like meat earlier because mummy used to eat vegetarian often while pregnant with Ben.
Another funny thing he likes is fried onion and garlic!

This is his another favorite breakfast or supper. He likes it sunny side, scrambled or boiled. He eats it almost everyday with soya source & pepper!
His diet looks very very healthy, because he eats so much fruits and veg. Actually the protein part is settled nicely by his one-a-day egg. I wish my boys could take eggs too, they’re so much easier to find/cook than fish/meat.
Thank God he likes egg as he still rejects meat from time to time. Why can’t Kaizer and Titus eat egg? They don’t like it?
