“Duck Duck” September 27, 2008 daddyBenjamin Ben Ben learnt to say “Duck Duck” and “Bird Bird” when he saw ducks and birds for the first time in the park in KL recently. He makes words double e.g, car car, milk milk.. etc..
Beautiful ducks indeed!
It’s cute for a baby to utter “duck duck” etc. But, i think it’s very important to nurture them to speak properly in any languages they’re learning. It’s always easier to correct them and influence them when they’re young.
Their tongue is better at calling 2 similar words at the moment. Anyway, Ben Ben can call daddy since very young 🙂
I found children who can speak very well are those whose parents speak to them properly since they were young. e.g. We tend to speak broken English most of the time. Children pick it up from us very easily.
I think this very true 🙂
